Scott Laytham’s skills as a musician, arranger, and composer, are well known in the St. Louis area. Besides his live performances, he has produced music for both local and national radio and television ads. Scott has created original soundtracks for many video games, IMAX productions, and planetarium star shows. For the live shows Scott has his hands full. He not only plays keys, guitar, and sings, but also runs the light show and sound system as well. Talk about multi-tasking!
Karl "Trickee" Holmes got his nickname for a reason. He is one of the best vocal impressionists in the country. His rare ability allows him to sing songs by almost any artist and sound just like them. You have to hear it to believe it! A short list of impressions Karl does includes, Louis Armstrong, Al Green, Ray Charles, Barry White, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Prince, Marvin Gaye, Nat King Cole, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, Alan Jackson, and the Temptations. (Karl performs all five Temptations voices by himself).
Between the two of them, Scott and Karl have worked with many of the regions best bands. Ralph Butler and Scott Laytham Duo, Fat Chance, Vision, Rupert's Orchestra, Boom, and The St. Louis Gateway Big Band are but a few of the groups they have performed in.
